Sign Up for RDK Central Core Development Access

To access private repositories hosted by RDK Central, you must be added to the appropriate GitHub teams. This requires linking your GitHub public account to your RDK Central LDAP profile.

Follow the steps below to ensure uninterrupted access to migrated repositories:

Steps to Register and Gain Access

  1. Check if you already have an RDK Central account:

  2. If yes, skip to Step 4.

  3. If not, proceed to Step 2.

  4. Create an RDK Central account:

  5. Sign up at: https://wiki.rdkcentral.com/signup.action

  6. Wait 15 minutes after account creation to allow for LDAP propagation.

  7. Check if you already have a personal (public) GitHub account:

  8. If yes, skip to Step 6.

  9. If not, proceed to Step 5.

  10. Create a personal GitHub account:

  11. Go to https://github.com/ and click Sign up.

  12. ⚠️ Ensure you are logged out of any GitHub Enterprise Cloud accounts before proceeding.

  13. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete account setup.

  14. Link your GitHub account to your RDK Central profile:

  16. Accept the GitHub team invitation:

  17. An invitation will be sent to the email address associated with your GitHub personal account.

  18. Accepting this invite will grant you access to the relevant private repositories.
